York College to name performing arts center in honor of retiring president

York College's Performing Arts Center will be named in honor of retiring president George Waldner and his wife, Judith, at a ceremony May 2. "Our institution has benefited in innumerable ways from the long service and strong leadership provided by President Waldner," George H. Glatfelter II, the college's board chairman, said in a news release.
