As we communicated in our notice last month, Environmental Services is continuing to design a project to replace or repair about 1,000 feet of 100-year-old public sewer pipes in the SE Hemlock Avenue and Harrison Street Alley, under the small East Rose Garden east of Ladds Circle, and between two properties on SE Cypress Avenue.

Kenton Sewer Repair Construction Update, July 7th, 2015

Environmental Services is replacing about 7,000 feet of public sewer pipes in the Kenton neighborhood that are between 80 and 90 years old and deteriorating due to age. This project will increase sewer capacity and reduce the risks of street flooding and sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.

SE 20th and Haig Sewer Construction Update: June 5, 2015

Environmental Services continues construction on a project to replace aging sewer pipes on SE 20th Avenue from SE Lafayette to Haig streets, and on SE Haig Street from SE 20th to 18th avenues. The pipes are over 100 years old and in poor condition. The project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of costly breaks, leaks, blockages and sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.
