Powell Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: October 10, 2017

This project will replace and repair aging public sewer pipe ranging from 60 to 104 years old. Repairing and replacing aging sewer pipes protects water quality, public health and the environment.

Fanno Pressure Sewer Improvement Project Construction Update: October 6, 2017

This project has replaced all 19 maintenance access structures in nine locations in the Garden Home area, as well as a pressure monitoring and recording system station off SW Railroad Street. These upgrades will ensure that the Fanno Basin Sewer System will continue to handle all wastewater flows year-round and provide better monitoring of the entire sewer system in the area. It will protect public health and the health of the Fanno Creek Watershed.

The Fanno Pressure Sewer Improvement Project has replaced nine of the 19 maintenance access structures planned for replacement in nine locations in the Garden Home are. Tabor Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: August 31, 2017

Environmental Services continues construction on a sewer repair project that will replace and repair about 17,000 feet of public sewer pipes in southeast and northeast Portland (see map below) that are 60 to 104 years old. This project will protect water quality, public health and the environment. This project will continue through the fall of this year.
