P4 adds 520,000 customers in Q3, grows market share to 23%

(Telecompaper) Polish mobile operator P4, trading under the brand Play, has published its results for the third quarter. It reported a 23 percent market share, up by 2.4 percentage points year-on-year. The customer base grew to 13.5 million (up 14.9 percent year-on-year). The share of contract customers increased to 49.6 percent from 46.3 percent in the third quarter of 2014. In the third quarter, operating revenues amounted to PLN 1.367 billion (up 19.3 percent) and revenues from subscribers amounted to PLN 1.070 billion (up 15.5 percent).

Eminent domain fight grows

The Lucas County commissioners have agreed to get bids for demolition of an apartment building in Monclova Township, even though the county doesn't own the property. The 21-unit apartment building, owned by Brandywine Estates Limited Partnership, is the subject of eminent domain action by the county, which wants to demolish the building to make way for a road to the future headquarters for The Andersons Inc. The county plans to realign Brandyway Lane to intersect with Salisbury Road at Briarfield Boulevard, west of U.S.23/a I-475.

Victory Petroleum Grows

Coming just one day after 7-Eleven Inc. announced that it is acquiring 183 Exxon Mobil Corp. sites in Florida, Victory Petroleum Inc. has announced that it has expanded its retail network in southern Florida with an agreement to acquire the real-estate interests and fuel distribution rights in 38 ExxonMobil company- and dealer-operated gas stations located in Miami. As reported yesterday in a Morgan Keegan/ CSP Daily News Flash, the agreement between Victory Petroleum and ExxonMobil also includes the distribution rights to three dealer-owned sites.
