AIRBUS GROUPA vacancy for a Head of Assembly Tuning Converter has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Portsmouth to join the Assembly RF department TEOPA21. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Organising the overall MAIT logic, interface with the shop floor, the transport, and optimise resources facilities and manpower availability in order to meet overall production planning. Defining and updating the global planning taking into account different projects running in parallel with respect to given priorities. Ensuring shops management and interfaces with purchasers. Defining transport logic and its implementation. Red flag conflicts planning, facilities and provide backup solutions.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience A previous experience in operational project coordination is mandatory A background in aerospace is required An understanding of financial management would be a strong asset A previous expertise in people management is a plus An expertise in handling full cycle project coordination is also a plus A negotiation level in English is required. Measuring 19 x 45 x 83 mm, KCOBRA150 operates from 6–32 Vdc input and provides 0.8–28 Vdc output at 150 W in temperatures ranging from -46 to 90°C. Low voltage input capability prevents converter from turning off when vehicle's engine is cranking, ensuring continuous operation of electronic equipment connected to output. Convection-cooled, non-isolated unit can operate up to 51,000 ft altitude and 1,500 ft below sea level in humid conditions ranging from 5–95% RH non-condensing.

Fully regulated to within ±0.5% of stated output, MTC1 Series includes 6 single-output models providing 3.3, 5, or 12 Vdc. Voltage trim pin allows adjustment of output voltage by ±10%. Available with nominal input voltages of 12 or 24 Vdc, these isolated devices accommodate 2:1 input range around selected nominal. Other features include remote on/off pin, input to output isolation, and operating range up to 100°C with derating.
