In a document filed last month in the U.S. District Court Northern District of Indiana, Forest River has accused Winnebago Industries and Winnebago of Indiana of trademark infringement in developing its new DROP teardrop travel trailer. The suit contends that Winnebago copied Forest River's "trade dress," that indicate the source of the travel trailers and distinguishes the travel trailer from all others through distinctive characteristics, including features such as size, shape, and color.
