Tasks accountabilities High quality, integrated and certificated engineering repair solutions are provided for the airline operators and other customers. o Create, compile and coordinate engineering documentation to achieve valid technical data for repairs. o Ensure all tasks and activities required for allocated Repair Engineering tasks are correctly planned, resourced, monitored and executed to achieve required quality customer time scales. o Contribute to effective repair team operation with the appropriate use of project management control and measures in achieving these objectives o Implement incoming task requirements so that Repair Engineering activities meet with Customer Services programmes and ensure outgoing tasking documents are consistent with Airbus and departmental requirements and meet customer requirements. o Provide responses for routine repairs queries, giving advice and guidance as required within Airbus UK on repair matters. In conjunction with the other members of the department, be a member of an integrated engineering team, ensuring its strategy, policy and directions are maintained. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation and across all departments, set objectives and prioritise to time, cost and quality In conjunction with other members of the team deliver integrated engineering solutions within agreed timescales. Manage all allocated tasks and activities ensuring they are correctly planned, resourced, monitored and executed to achieve required quality customer time scales.As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following Essential Skills o Relevant background in FDT o Ability to work towards gaining a delegated signatory level o Ability to perform in a high pressure reactive environment o Ability to liaisenegotiate with Design and Static Stress groups o PC skills and a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint. o Be conversant with the technical requirements for analysing repairs o Good interpersonal and communication skills o The ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables and prioritise. Preferred Skills o Interrogation of design documentation systems a minimum requirement o Working knowledge of Airbus structures o Working knowledge of Airbus design tools and processes o Demonstrated problem solving ability o Create, compile and coordinate engineering documentation to achieve valid technical data for repairs Please ensure that a covering letter detailing motivations and suitability for this position is included in your application.
