The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller 20-city home price index rose 5 percent from a year earlier, a slight improvement on May's 4.9 percent increase, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices. Prices rose 10.2 percent in Denver, 9.5 percent in San Francisco and 8.2 percent in Dallas.

Year-over-year Canadian motorhome registrations plummeted 34.1% in June and 25.7% for the first six months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. Forest River Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader year-to-date, capturing a 25.4% market share, with Thor Industries Inc. holding a 23.2% share and Winnebago Industries Inc. 22.8%. Class A registrations declined 16.3% in June and 13.6% year-to-date.
