NE Columbia Blvd and NE 63rd Ave Sewer and Stormwater Project Email Update: May 13, 2014

Environmental Services is designing a project to install a stormwater infiltration system along NE Columbia Boulevard between NE 60th and NE 63rd avenues. The system will filter sediment and pollutants from stormwater runoff discharged through an outfall pipe into the Columbia Slough. The project will help restore fish and wildlife habitat, improve water quality and protect public health. The work includes replacing 160 feet of public sewer pipe.

Veolia to provide treatment equipment, services to Columbia oil field in $73M contract

Ecopetrol America Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Ecopetrol S.A. , has awarded a contract to Veolia, an environmental and water services and technology provider, to provide equipment and services used to treat the produced water from Ecopetrol S.A.'s Castilla oil fields in Colombia's Llanos Basin, southeast of Bogota.
