Pull-type, 27-ton SS-2518 is available with 80,000 lb GVWR floater trailer, which features fully welded structural tubular steel frame, walking beam suspension, and 710/50-30.5 floatation tires. Able to work in soft conditions, each pneumatically loadable SS-2518 is equipped with self-contained hydraulic system powered by tractor's PTO. It can also be used with vehicles without PTO using optional auxiliary engine. Stoltz Controller maintains constant spread rate up to 120 lb/yd² at 2 mph.
