Telecom, Fastweb join forces for high-speed Internet

Milan, May 5 - Telecom Italia has signed an agreement with competitor Fastweb to test a fiber-and-copper technology for fast Internet connection, according to media reports Tuesday. The memorandum of understanding, signed on April 24, will see the two Italian telecommunications providers working together until December 2016.
