Tasks and Responsibilities The candidate will be required to support the Directorate Network Management DNM Simulator Real Time Simulation SIM RTS Project. Inside our Clients Directorate Network Management DNM, the Airspace Simulation section is in charge of the preparation and execution of airspace simulations in support of the validation of new airspace organisations, procedures, processes and operational concepts. The major customers for such validation services are the European Air Navigation Service Providers ANSPs and the upcoming Functional Airspace Block projects, such as FAB Europe Central, Danube FAB and FAB Central Europe. The realtime simulations, as a means to collect data supporting the overall validation process, are conducted according to the principles and guide lines of the European Operational Concept Validation Methodology EOCVM.
