Sessa Capital Moves to Consolidate Litigation against Ashford Hospitality Prime in Federal District Court to Expedite Resolution of Outstanding Legal Issues and the company's directors, and filed similar claims in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas as a means of consolidating the litigation between the two parties, the firm said. Sessa also filed a motion to remove claims the company filed in Texas state court to the federal court case, arguing that the underlying facts and claims arise from the same matters being litigated in federal court.

The recent Seritage earnings release highlighted the ability to allocate capital with a 12%-13% yield on cost for wholly-owned redevelopment opportunities. It's impressive that Seritage has demonstrated the ability to grow FFO per share, but that isn't the metric which matters to me most at this stage of the game.
