A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for much of the North Shore and areas north of Boston on Saturday evening by the National Weather Service. Just before 6 p.m., the weather service said that radar showed a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds over 60 miles per hour near Burlington, headed east at 35 miles per hour.
