School District Wins Grant To Upgrade Wireless Points in Classrooms

The Cherokee County School District has been awarded funding in the latest round of Georgia's Connections to Classrooms grant program. The school system is eligible for up to $1,448,307.46 in grant funding in this round to upgrade wireless access points in classrooms across the district.

International Paper now accepting grant applications

In 2014, International Paper's Georgetown Mill awarded $55,000 in grants to 27 community organizations doing work with environmental education, literacy and IP employees. Community groups, schools and charities looking for financial assistance can once again turn to International Paper for a helping hand this year; the Georgetown mill and the International Paper Foundation are now accepting grant applications.
