(Telecompaper) Japanese social gaming content and platform provider Gree and Yahoo Japan have agreed to establish GxYz, a joint venture that will focus on the development and operation of social games for smartphones. Gree and Yahoo! Japan signed an agreement in November 2012 to develop a business collaboration aimed at using their strengths and creating a new entertainment business focusing on smartphones. Through the establishment of GxYz, the two companies aim to enhance their smartphone social gaming business collaboration, combining the user acquisition functionalities of Yahoo!
