We are currently looking for a Technology Harmonisation Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Technology Harmonisation Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Technology Planning Team at ESTEC, you will have the following responsibilities Assess the consistency of new Technology activitiesplans with Harmonised Roadmaps and Conclusions, consulting with ESA technical experts as necessary Support the update of the HEART database, based on information obtained in the context of the Harmonisation Tracking System and contributions from ESA Member State Delegations Maintain the Industry Capability Mapping database tables and reports Support both the organisation and running of the Harmonisation Mapping and Roadmapping meetings Support both the organisation and running of the endtoend technology management process, including monitoring and evaluation functions, the Technology Observatory and TECNET meetings Maintain the ESA Technology Tree and ESA Generic Product Tree Analyse past harmonisation to generate statistics Prepare content for the HarmonisationTEC Webpage based on information obtained in the context of the Harmonisation Tracking System. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience PhD or Master degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline A background in a wide range of technologies relevant to space and experience in space projects and technology development Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary technical environment Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary technical environment. Easy contact with personnel and well balanced autonomy in the execution of the requested tasks. Rigor, commitment and reliability in the execution of the assigned tasks and capacity to identify priority actions. Familiarity with electronics office automation tools e.g. Microsoft Office suite, including Access and techniques, electronic mailing, customised databases.
