EADS For Innovation Works in Ottobrunn within the department Communication Sensor Systems we are looking for the Research Teamleader fm Optronics. The research activities of the team are in the area of optical sensors and optical communication. Within this scope the responsibilities will include Definition of new research paths in Optronic technologies for EADS group applications, supported by the EADS business units Development of new technologies and seek funding opportunities Acquisition of new research projects and delivery of them within budget and on time Establishment of partnerships with research institutes and universities Management of the team, including managing individual personell development Management and report against team targets and budgets We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in Physics or equivalent PhD with a strong background in optics and optronics Deep experience in experimental physics on opticsoptronics, preferably active optical sensors and optical communication, potentially including transfer of research results Previous physics teaching experiences are appreciated Established network in the scientific community, potentially links to the aeronautical world Experience in RD or RT projects as well as in project management and work orientation Strong leadership skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills, personal commitment, open mindset Motivated to work in an international environment and to challenge the technological statusquo Innovative mindset Willingness to travel English fluent negotiation level, German skills are desirable If you are interested in this position, please apply though our OnlineTool www.jobs.eads.com and attach your application in German or English.
