Key duties include Expertise in the overall architecture of lowvoltage electronic components and subsystems for the Electron launch vehicle Handson design of electronic products from concept through to manufacture, including analog and highspeed digital circuits Assess and perform component selection for new technologies based on functionality, price, and technical risk Provide technical leadership and mentorship for the team of engineers, providing direction for specific tasks and skills Coordinate internal and external resources for the ontime delivery of complex projects, working across departments to ensure successful implementation Provide a leadership role in anomaly resolutions, coordinating between teams, and providing highlevel recommendations for managing technical risk Deliver quality and reliability in the power electronics systems, and drive quality in the team Minimum Requirements Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification 10 years experience in a relevant design field Demonstrated experience in solving complex technical problems and good engineering decision making High proficiency with electronic design tools, including circuit simulation software High proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment Experience with analog, digital, and mixedsignal circuit design, including embedded systems, FPGAs, sensors, data acquisition, and other electronic circuits Strong troubleshooting skills and aptitude for mentoring junior engineers Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral Preferred Skills Experience in highreliability andor highperformance industries is a plus Important Information For security reasons background checks will be undertaken prior to any employment offers being made to an applicant. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES We are passionate about innovation and driven to find new concepts for space laser communications. We are looking for an innovative, ambitious and experienced 15 years talent with a strong background in a junior Avionics Electronics Engineer and technical leadership to drive this forward and augment our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in the area of design, development and test of integrated avionics to support the testing of our airborne payloads. Specific job responsibilities include but not limited to Design and development and operation of avionics subsystems for an unmanned aerial platform to meet requirements and meet local regulations. Design and development of ground station equipment power, mission planning, TCTM interfaces to enable safe and reliable operation of airborne platform.
