Marvel Plans 'All-New Inhumans' Comic Book Series

Marvel Entertainment is continuing to throw its publishing weight behind its Inhumans property ahead of the Marvel Studios movie, scheduled for release in 2019, with Wednesday's announcement of a new comic book series focusing on the concept - the sixth Inhumans series to launch as part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel publishing relaunch. All-New Inhumans will be co-written by Charles Soule , writer of the September-launching Uncanny Inhumans , and James Asmus , with art by Stefano Caselli , and will focus on a "diplomatic mission/covert strike team" led by former Avengers and Fantastic Four supporting character Crystal.

Louisville-based A&R Logistics Inc. has entered an agreement with Omaha, Neb.-based Union Pacific Corp. to co-develop an export supply-chain operation to support the U.S. plastic resin industry. The two aim to establish a transportation and plastics packaging facility near Union Pacific's Dallas Intermodal Terminal to handle what's anticipated to be a significant increase in export plastic resins.

Lenovo plans job cuts as sales slow, profits fall

(Telecompaper) Lenovo saw its revenue growth slow to 3 percent in its fiscal first quarter June, to USD 10.7 billion. Net profit fell 51 percent year-on-year to USD 105 million. The company said it suffered from the slowdown in the PC and tablet market, growing competition in smartphones, especially in China, marcoeconomic and currency headwinds in key markets such as Brazil, and "rapidly shifting technology demand" at its enterprise business. To address the difficult market conditions, Lenovo announced a round of restructuring, focusing on better integrating its recent acquisitions and lowering costs. This will include the elimination of 3,200 jobs outside manufacturing, or around 5 percent of its total workforce.
