Provide technical support for ETB and Flight spacecraft testing of the EPS, PCDU, Battery and SADA and review of resultant test results. The following activities shall be performed Technical review and support the procurement of the EPS and EPS units including Review at subsystem level Maintenance of the Requirement specification for the EPS Review of the EPS units PCDU, SADA and Battery Schedule and Risk inputs to the Prime team for the EPS, PCDU, SADA and Battery Technical support to the procurement of the Solar Array Review of the technical documentation of the power subsystems and units Review EPS, EPS units and Solar array subsystem test plans, test procedures and test reports Support subsystem supplier, unit level MRRTRRDRB activities Generation of Prime level synthesis analysis from EPS level analyses and spacecraft inputs Generate Prime level Power Subsystem documentation inputs based on EPS supplier inputs Generation of related inputs into the Prime Engineering team including Inputs to harness requirement specification voltage drop, harness losses. Review and collate EICD inputs from EPS and review spacecraft EICD Inputs for Mechanicalthermal teams from suppliers for EPS MICD, TICD and provide support Inputs to the Spacecraft User Manuals for the Power Subsystem Inputs to the PA organisation for Safety, Hazards, Reliability aspects of the EPS and support PA in RFD and NCR resolution Review and coordinate TMTC ICD and Calibration inputs from the power subsystem units to Spacecraft database Liase with Central Software team on Power Subsystem application requirements and the Test simulator team on Power Subsystem modelling Provide interface support on Power matters to the Payload team Support Flight operation procedure generation for EPS equipments. Provide support to the Spacecraft level test programme, including Establish test plans and test requirement specifications for EPS units and power chain at both Prime test bench ETB and Flight spacecraft levels Test preparation support FMEA, Test Specification Reviews, etc. Provide technical support to Prime test bench ETB Power Subsystem testing Provide technical support to Spacecraft Power Subsystem testing Review, analyse and synthesise results from EPS units and power chain integration and test at both ETB and Flight spacecraft levels Duration of the activity April 2013 March 2015 plus possible extensions Specific Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. o Good experience in system testing and payloads functional tests more than 4 years. o An ability to work in a project team with a sense of cooperation and negotiation with colleagues at Astrium or within Industry is also required. o Availability to witness tests and to participate to AIT activities for relative long periods abroad, up to several months in the case of the satellite launch campaign.

Electrical AITAIV Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities The holder of this post will report to the System Engineer of the SGEO Project. Heshe will take his responsibilities as AIV engineer at OHB, Bremen, Germany following the core platform integration and verification activities followed by the Spacecraft integration and verification. This will also include the environment test activities at IABG, Munich, Germany, the launch campaign in CSG late 2014 TBC. Extended periods at the integrator site as well as support during the launch campaign are expected. The work will be performed at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands and will include following tasks and responsibilities Ensuring that ESA and Hispasat requirements are met. Monitoring the AIT planning, preparation, execution and test analysis activities of OHB, including the representation of ESA at daily, weekly and monthly meetings and providing weekly briefing reports. Represent ESA at TRR, PTR, NRB meetings in coordination with the project PA and Engineering. Ensuring timely preparation of integration and test procedures and reviewing these procedures supported by relevant discipline engineers. Monitor the readiness and validation of GSE, scripts and software needed for the platform and spacecraft verification. Setup and follow the verification control process ensuring adequate verification traceability. Interface with the ESA project team to ensure adequate support for AIT activities and reviews. Maintain the AIT documentation distribution and storage with support of the project administrator. Support project reviews in hisher area of expertise. Support as required other subsystems AIV activities at other subcontractors locations. Qualifications and Experience Applicants should have a University degree in a relevant discipline and good experience in system testing and payload functional tests. Additionally, the candidate should have the availability to witness tests and participate to AIT activities for relative long periods abroad. Furthermore, candidates are required to have following skills Ability to cope with pressure. Fluent in English. High level of flexibility. Good organization skills, good communication skills.
