Jason CS is a fascinating mission aiming to continue delivering high precision ocean altimetry measurements in the time frame 20202030. This is a varied role with both technical and managerial elements. You will lead the engineering, integration, verification and validation activities for the Jason CS Ground Segment, and you will be in regular contact with our international partners. You should therefore have good communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to manage and influence a cross matrix team working on various programmes. You should have skillsexperience in each of the following areas Experience in the field of Satellite Ground Segment Systems specification, design, implementation, integration and test Experience in full Ground Segment Lifecycle Support, including launch and commissioning preparations Technical management experience in the development of complex Ground Segment systems, particularly in Integration, Verification and Validation Experience with working in a controlled environment, following methodologies, processes and standards such as CCSDS and ECSS and related tools In depth knowledge of Satellite Mission Operations Systems and experience in mission analysis, mission control, mission planning and flight dynamics Strengths in analysis, synthesis and presentation of complex problems and solutions.
