CDC: Chipotle-linked outbreak of E. coli is over

CDC reports new E. coli cases linked to Chipotle

Chipotle Mexican Grill founder and CEO Steve Ells discusses new food safety protocols Dec. 15 with employees after an E. coli outbreak sickened 50 people in the Northwest. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday it is investigating a more recent batch of E. coli cases linked to Chipotle, and that it does not know yet if they are linked to a larger outbreak that began in October.
