ELFA's Monthly Leasing and Finance Index for May indicates 21% increase in new business volume compared to May 2012, at $7.5 billion, unchanged from April 2013. Year to date, cumulative new business volume was up 11%. Index also showed receivables over 30 days declined to 1.6%, while charge-offs remained unchanged and credit approvals increased to 78.8%.
