SES (Paris; Luxembourg: SESG) has announced the results of a study of the Nigerian market. The study highlights that SES reaches 2.81 million TV homes across the country, of which 1.69 million are reached directly by satellite and 1.12 million cable TV homes are fed indirectly.

Olymel investing $25 million on pork plant expansion

According to various media reports, Olymel is investing more than $25 million to expand its hog slaughterhouse and processing facility north of Montreal. This project will increase the operation’s capacity by a third to 40,000 hogs per week, and up to 200 jobs will be added to the 810 workers at the St-Esprit facility. The St-Esprit plant produces various cuts of pork, seasoned pork products and vacuum-packed products. The expansion will add a refrigeration room to produce chilled pork. read more
