The activity requires the fulltime participation of the key person for the duration of herhis respective contracts. The tasks of the key person will be carried out at EUMETSA T facilities in Darmstadt but occasional travel within Europe may be necessary. Minimum Requirements An engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or an equivalent qualification 5 years experience in a testing andor operations ideally gained within the engineering industry Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to carry out fluid and structural hand calculations Experience developing clear and concise, detailed Standard Operating Procedures SOPs, this is to include launch integration and operational procedures Strong technical writing skills A strong background in identifying, assessing and negotiating with suppliers and providing logistical solutions Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships both within the organisation and externally with suppliers.
