Do you have strong interest in taking part in the Galileo Program as a system performance verification engineer? Your daytoday activities For one of our client we are looking for a System Performance VerificationValidation Engineer SETA for the Galileo Program. In this role, you will be contributing to the integration, verification and validation of the FOC updates of the Galileo System and their deployment to Operational chain and supporting the preparation and execution of all performance validation activities in FOC. This includes in particular contribute to the maintenance of the System Requirements System Functional Chains traceability contribute to the verification of the functionalities underlying system performance tests organise and perform along with SETA colleagues, the verification tests related to performance requirements, among which follow up RFDRFW recovery follow up ARNCR resolution This role is based in Noordwijk The Netherlands. Things you need to be succesful You are wellorganized, energetic and have a high level of attention to detail. You have advanced analytical skills and are a quick learner. You have a strong interest in verification of a highly complex space system, are inquisitive and able to investigate technical problems. You also have a Master Degree or PhD with a focus on Information Technology or equivalent Experience in software design and its principles is desirable Experience with GSWS standards or equivalent is desirable Experience with Galileo A EU Personal Security Clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL and above is part of the selection procedure. Chevron Launches Study For Carbon Capture Pilot Unit

Telefonica creates new global digital consumer unit

(Telecompaper) Telefonica has announced the creation of a new global unit designed to make sales processes and customer relations "more digital, faster and simpler" as part of the action plan launched in November to generate more than EUR 2 billion a year in additional revenues from 2022 onwards. The new unit, dubbed Chief Digital Consumer Office (CDCO), will be led by Chema Alonso, until now responsible for the company's data strategy and cognitive intelligence project. Telefonica said the unit will above all promote innovation in new digital products and services, with a special focus on the digital home, as well as innovation in networks and relations with the entrepreneurial and startup community.
