Position Senior Software Developer The Senior Software Developer SSD reports to the Chief Technology Officer. You will work closely with Data Scientists to build Hydrosats first commercial products. Skills and Experience At least 5 years of software development experience with multiple programming languages, technologies and frameworks Strong industry experience in programming languages such as Python, C or Java, with the ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly Experience on automating the data processing side of the software development cycle with shell scripts andor other scripting languages Experience with software development life cycle design, development, test, deployment, monitoring and operations Experience building and operating CICD pipelines Handson experience designing and delivering solutions involving computationally intensive steps using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, HPC, and API Highly selfmotivated, keen learner able to solve challenging problems with creative solutions Organizational skills Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Other Helpful Expertise Experience taking software from conceptual stage to commercial product Expertise and working knowledge of distributed computing platform such as Cloud and Cluster Experience helping Data Scientists build and operationalize code Frontend development skills are considered a plus Language Spoken and written proficiency in English is mandatory Proficiency in one of the official languages of Luxembourg is desirable French, German or Luxembourgish Location Luxembourg Start Date Immediate Contract Type Full Time, Permanent Interested?
