Made of turned aluminum with matte shot-blast finish, GN 741 and GN 742 are available plain or with fill or drain symbol laser engraved. While GN 741 types have NBR synthetic rubber seal, GN 742 versions have Viton rubber seal. Groove undercut in mating face retains seal, preventing it from dropping out and from extruding when plug is tightened. Metric pipe thread sizes from M14 x 1.5 to M42 x 2.0 are available as are BSPP parallel threads from G ¼ in. to G ½ in.
