(Telecompaper) Norwegian communications regulator Nkom has announced the result of the auction that began on 06 May of 4,739 MHz of 5G spectrum, divided into 65 blocks in eight bands, namely low 10 GHz, high 10 GHz, 13 GHz, 18 GHz, 23 GHz, 28 GHz, 32 GHz and 38 GHz. The auction ran for 118 rounds and spectrum was awarded to Telenor, Telia, Ice, GlobalConnect/Broadnet and Funn for more than NOK 34.26 million. Acting spectrum division director Espen Slette said the greater plurality of successful bidders will be beneficial in terms of competitiveness, expansion and resilience.

Telefonica to include Disney+ in all premium Fusion plans, launches new Cine package

(Telecompaper) Telefonica has revealed its commercial policy for integrating Disney+ content into its Fusion convergent offer following the recent deal with the Walt Disney Company. Starting on 24 March, the Disney+ SVOD service will be included in premium Fusion packages costing at least EUR 99 a month, including all 13 Fusion Seleccion Plus Ficcion, Fusion Total and Fusion Total Plus plans.

(Telecompaper) Orange Spain has confirmed that it will follow rivals Yoigo and Vodafone by introducing its first all-you-can-eat data bundles in a revamp of its Love-branded convergent plans. The operator said it has moved to respond to the increasing demands of its customers by adding unlimited data at no extra charge to its Intenso, Intenso Max, Experto and Experto Max convergent plans as well as its premium Love Negocio plans. It's also launching 4 new convergent plans dubbed Love Ilimitado, Ilimitado Max, Ilimitado Premium and Ilimitado Premium Max with all-you-can-eat data and no speed restrictions. The new and revamped plans will be available starting 10 February.
