Minimum wages have not changed in the past months, in most low-income countries. They have however been significantly raised where inflation rates have recently rebounded, including in Pakistan or Egypt. Our report displays minimum wages in low-cost apparel manufacturing countries in Asia and Euro-Mediterranean countries, from January 2015 to September 2019, in local currency and US$ terms. A 4-year comparison is available in local currency terms, 2015 US$ terms, and 2019 US$ terms.

A large number of currencies, including the renminbi and the Indian rupee, have significantly declined against the dollar in August, as a result of the global disruption triggered by the US-China trade war. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Amazon Prime Video reaches distribution deal with Altice in France and other countries

(Telecompaper) Amazon has signed a distribution agreement with Altice in a deal that will make Amazon Prime Video content available directly via the set-top boxes of SFR in France. Altice's subsidiaries in Portugal, Israel and the Dominican Republic will also introduce the service in the near future.
