'Significant progression' as Del Monte Foods converts to non-BPA packaging

Hot on the heels of Campbell Soup Company's announcement that it is switching to BPA-free lined cans by 2017, Del Monte Foods, has revealed this week it is converting to non-BPA linings. Starting with the company's fresh pack production in 2016, which runs from May to October, all Del Monte fruit and tomato products, and nearly 100% of vegetable products found under the Del Monte brand will convert to non-BPA linings.
