Major milestone for NBN 2.0 as NBN Co and Telstra sign new deal

NBN Co and Telstra today announced the signing of revised definitive agreements, clearing the major hurdle for the company rolling out the National Broadband Network as it shifts to the 'Multi-Technology Mix' favoured by the Coalition government. Under the original agreements with NBN Co, Telstra was obliged to progressively migrate its customers off its copper network and onto the fibre-to-the-premises NBN and shut down the copper network.

Analyst says GlobalFoundries, Apple deal likely

Apple may be looking to GlobalFoundries in Malta, New York to make chips for the next generation of Apple products. According to a report by DigiTimes , GlobalFoundries is pushing to become the mobile chip manufacturer for Apple's faster, smaller chip known as the 14-nanometer.

Keurig's Caribou Deal Aims To Ward Off The Unlicensed

Keurig Green Mountain has broadened its agreement with Caribou Coffee to sell Caribou's roasts in packets compatible with Keurig's new brewer, part of the K-Cup purveyor's efforts to get more brands aboard the new machine since its patent on its old cups expired in 2012.
