Responsibilities The general activities are The SW architect will perform all the analysis tasks identified below. Engineering Activities system development or upgrades Writing of Requirements document and System Concept papers Writing of possible system concepts and system architectures with traceability to identified needs, to determine levels of uncertainty and risk Conduct tradeoff studies and select the preferred system concept, together with the preferred technical solutions for this concept Establish a preliminary design definition for the selected system concept and retained technical solutions Identify and define external interfaces Determine the verification program including model philosophy Prepare the next level specification Completion of the detailed design definition of the system Completion of assembly, integration and test planning for the system and its constituent parts Detailed definition of internal and external interfaces Verification Control for the requirements to be verified by test proposedefine the testing activities.
