Green-building stakeholder organizations – ASTM International, ICC Evaluation Service, NSF International, and Sustainable Minds – will launch Program Operator Consortium, which will serve as expert resource and advocate for creating product category rules (PCRs), reviewing life cycle assessment (LCA) reports, as well as verifying and publishing environmental product declarations (EPDs). Members will pool resources and jointly conduct outreach, marketing, education, and communications.

GSAT-15, Indias latest communications satellite, has been launched successfully by the Ariane 5 VA-227 launch vehicle. The 3164 kg GSAT-15 carries communication transponders in Ku-band as well as a GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation (GAGAN) payload operating in L1 and L5 bands.

Investigation launched after man carries knife onto plane in 'error'

Security officials at Dublin airport have launched an investigation after a passenger managed to board a plane carrying a knife. It is understood the passenger, who was bound for Cologne, was questioned for two hours by airport police after informing Germanwings airline staff he had accidentally carried the blade on board in his laptop bag last week.
