Material is inert to air, water, alkalis, and all acids, with exception of nitric acid. Available uncoated or with anti-reflection coating, lenses comes in 25 or 50 mm diameters with focal lengths from 25–100 mm. Applications include IR imaging or surveillance, remote sensing, or IR spectroscopy.
