Senior Sales Representative, North America United States Princeton, New Jersey Your Job The ideal candidate will identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities for media companies based in the United States and Canada for the provision of the full range of services that content providers require to manage and to distribute their content. The successful candidates primary responsibility will be to sell SES service products to meet the needs of Media customers in developing and in existing areas of video distribution and management including, but not limited to, traditional satellite services, IP based content, cloud based distribution, onpremises and cloud based playout, Overthetop distribution, online targeted advertisement, low latency streaming, CDN, OVP, Content Management, VoD Delivery, and LivetoFile Clipping from live events. Your Responsibilities Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals by identifying new business opportunities Analyze market trends and customer segment and competitor activity to determine target customers and sales potential. Provide market intelligence for business planning efforts. Act as the primary contact for assigned existing customers. Confidently handle multiple key accounts and coordinate with client executives responsible for all aspects of distributing and managing video, including IT, fiber, satellite, and cuttingedge distribution technologies. Participate in the design of the best solutions for client requirements using all available satellite, fiber, IP resources, and added value resources. Draft formal proposals and responses to client RFPs Negotiate and close contracts Optimize value proposition for customers and potential customers Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing, assigned customers Manage timely renewals of existing services and promoting additional sales to contracted clients Travel to secure new business with new clients and support current customers with visits as needed Represent SES Video at industry events and trade shows as necessary Provide detailed tracking and status information for each sales opportunity in SESs CRM and other management reports. Work in collaboration with regional sales, presales and product groups to achieve segment solutions and objectives. Informed on the latest technologies and trends in video distribution. Acquire a complete knowledge of SES Video services and new product offerings. Your Profile College degree and 710 years of experience in related sales arena such as distribution networks, playout services, and added value products to broadcasters and content providers. A strong background in content management and playout is a plus. Strong financial and sales development skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated skills in effective presentation delivery Ability to build longterm relationships with strategic partners Solid managerial skills and track record with effectively working with internal partners as well as multinational teams Must have experience interfacing with sales engineers and executives in this field.
