The research group Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratory from the School of Engineering Universitat de Valencia and a team of scientists at the Faculty of Physiotherapy led by Professor Felipe Querol have set up an innovative project for monitoring the physical activity of people with haemophilia through individual devices with the purpose of developing patterns which help to improve their quality of life and treatments.

In an effort to remind consumers they don't need to pay for cable to watch local TV, Antennas Direct, TVFreedom.org and LG Electronics plan to give out thousands of digital TV antennas across the country. "About 80 percent of the population doesn't even know digital TV exists and that you can get it just from an antenna," Antennas Direct president Richard Schneider told WUSA at the event's kick-off in Washington, D.C. "So the whole point of this is to help people who are struggling with their bills and maybe are worried about their finances and hopefully save maybe about $2,000 a year."
