A bill that would require buy-here-pay-here dealerships to provide a 10-day notification before a remote kill device could be used to disable a car for lack of payment gained unanimous approval in the Assembly this week. Assembly Bill 265 by Assemblyman Chris Holden, D-Pasadena , passed on a 75-0 vote and is now headed to the Senate.
