Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Development, verification, validation and release of data to users. Responsible for providing SRDB patches Investigate problems during test related to the SRDB Keep up to date the Master DB DPRs within the DPR system JIRA software Import, review and provide feedback on received Software Supplier, Equipment and Payload Instrument data Release of Master databases in line with schedule requirements Support the Master Database Architect with Database validation Make updates reuseable to optimise the process of incorporating patches onto different versions Keep informed all database users of the Database Management Tool of any activities impacting access Discuss improvements to the database system and processes with the other Database Architects and where applicable perform necessary changes, testing and updates to any relevant documentation Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University Degree in the relevant discipline Basic Programming Visual basic, C or C etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of SQL Java Database Management Experience Access, My SQL etc. Experience of Bug Tracking tools e.g. JIRA, Redmine, Bugzilla Familiarity with ESA standards Awareness Communication skills key as lots of interface with key stakeholders, able to adapt to a wide variety of audience How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
