Every quarter at least 7,500 consumers are asked about their use of mobile telephony, broadband connections, fixed telephony and TV, including details on their current situation, purchasing habits, usage and churn. Dutch VoIP market grows past 5 million lines

(Telecompaper) The Dutch consumer VoIP connections grew by 1.7 percent during the third quarter of this year to reach a total 5.05 million on 30 September, passing the 5 million mark during the quarter, according to Telecompaper's quarterly report on the Dutch fixed telephony market. The growth of VoIP is driven by VoIP via fibre, up 7.1 percent during the third quarter and cable VoIP, up 2.1 percent that off-set the 0.1 percent decrease in DSL VoIP.
