Shares of Brooks Automation Inc. jumped more than 10 percent on Friday, a day after the maker of factory-automation and cryogenic solutions reported better-than-expected fiscal third-quarter earnings. For the three-month period ending June 30, Brooks reported net income of nearly $7.7 million, or 11 cents per share, on revenues of $144.9 million.
