Telefonica Germany stabilises revenues in Q4

(Telecompaper) Telefonica Deutschland reported revenue of EUR 5.522 billion for 2014. The figure includes E-Plus, acquired from KPN, from 01 October 2014. On a pro forma combined basis for the full year, 2014 revenues would have been EUR 7.793 billion. In the fourth quarter, total revenue amounted to EUR 2.019 billion, a largely stable performance over the previous year on a like-for-like basis (-0.2%). Fixed revenue reached EUR 274 million (-7.7% year-on-year), an improvement from -9.0% in the third quarter.

Feb. 20, 2015 - Albany International today said that its German affiliate, Wurttembergische Filztuchfabrik K. Geschmay GmbH, has announced plans to discontinue manufacturing operations at its press fabric manufacturing facility in Goppingen, Germany. In a press statement, Albany International said, " This planned action is driven by the continuing consolidation of paper industry customers in Europe, and the continuous need to match the Company's paper machine clothing manufacturing capacity in Europe with the demands of our customers, so that customer sourcing is optimized.
