Junior Editor Ref SES0684 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES Category Position Staff Published 20151012 Context Primary responsible for the planning and production of topical packages and stories for the entire scope of PR and communication channels on and offline, external and internal, translating SES positions, SESs global, regional and segmental interests into the whole range of available formats and underpinning SESs claim for industry thought leadership. Responsibilities Define themes and topics relevant for SES and develop SES stories and narratives Plan, develop, research, write and produce the formats that deploy the narratives press releases, articles, QAs, positioning papers, White Papers, OpEds, blog posts, Intranet articles, presentations for external and internal channels Prioritise themes and topics relevant for SES together with Public Relations Manager and Public Affairs Manager and interface with Marketing and Investor Relations Contribute to SES positioning and narratives by networking and conducting research with internal and external stakeholders and sources Support production and execution of projects commissioned by the Picture and Online Desks and of Topic Matrix Mandatory participation in weekly Editorial Conference Experience Qualifications University degree and excellent journalistic formation in international school for journalism andor international newswire or news outlet Excellent knowhow in researching, interviewing, writing, editing and reporting in print andor electronic online media in excellent international business English One to five years of journalisticeditorial experience gained through internships or an entry level position Native English speaker with excellent editorial and journalistic skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to details Ability to identify industry and SES topics and issues and develop and deliver complex messages to a wide range of audiences Ability to integrate into a content production team and effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders Ability to cope with tight deadlines and a wide range of tasks simultaneously and to solve issues and problems quickly and independently High degree of enthusiasm and interest Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits.
