The main objective of this job is to provide the necessary support for an environment that is based on MicroStrategy, a business intelligence platform and that integrates data from several sources and allows for the setting up of reports in an easily accessible way. The Environment consists mainly of dashboards for various purposes and various platforms. Today it typically supports reporting in the following domains Budgets Travel mission analysis Workforce Management Conference Attendance Telecommunications Billing Service The reports can be accessed by multiple platforms, e.g. Laptop, mobile devices, such as Apple iPad andor iPhone. The necessary competence should cover database and ETL management as well as an understanding of financial data. Furthermore as this entails also a deep understanding of the MicroStrategy platform the candidate shall also have good knowledge of the tool and be capable of managing the system, its security and optimization, and develop dashboards and reports for various purposes. The main objectives are To maintain the current environment To design customized reports and dashboards To follow up on the integration of various databases with the Perseus environment. To provide the necessary support to project controllers and project managers Required Tasks are Perform Business analysis on request of a user or of the Technical Officer to understand the needs of the users Produce requirements and project documentation in close liaison with the customers and in line with the relevant project management procedures Manage the underlying Oracle RDBMS, its optimization towards performance and the creation of new structures to support the integration of additional data Manage Microstrategy Server its maintenance and upgrade paths Manage the Microstrategy metadata and implement and maintain the agreed Access control policy Perform and maintain the requested User Administration in the Microstrategy tool Create reports, documents, dashboard with Microstrategy Manage the MS Office Microstrategy Integration and support users in generating and maintaining MS Office documents with update functionality Handle support cases with Microstrategy Customer Support Manage the Change Management and Configuration Management processes and procedure for the Microstrategy system Plan for and manage handover to operations, in line with project delivery plans Maintain and evolve the ETL system based on Talend Open Studio Organize, prepare and deliver user training on the platform and on the Dashboards and Documents made available by the project Produce regular reports on the status of the system, what is available and what is in the pipeline The candidate should have a relevant experience in the mentioned tasks. MicroStrategy sells off contact center software division

BI (business intelligence) vendor MicroStrategy is getting out of the contact center software business, having sold off its Angel subsidiary to Genesys for roughly $110 million in cash. The deal is expected to close in March. Angel offers an array of cloud-based, self-service contact center products, with interactive voice response, chat and other capabilities. Angel has developed a series of customer service applications specialized for various industries, such as banking and health care, according to a statement released Tuesday.
