Using protocol software from acontis for EtherCAT Master Class A/B devices, fanless IXXEC-100 provides EtherCAT Master functionality. Optimized link layer lets unit operate with cycle times of less than 1 ms, and internal RAM memory (256 MB standard) can be extended to 1 GB. Operating from -40 to +70°C, solution provides 4 Ethernet, 2 CAN, and 2 USB interfaces and uses dual core Cortex A9 CPU. Available for thermocouple Types J, K, or T and 3-wire RTD type Pt100, ProSense non-programmable transmitters provide linearized 2-wire 4–20 mA current loop output. Programmable models, compatible with variety of thermocouple and RTD types, feature linear resistance of 10–400 Ω and 10–2,000 Ω. Head-mount models are powered by 8–35 Vdc, while DIN rail-mount models are powered by 12-35 Vdc.
