Emerson Electric likely saw its sales decline in December as a strong U.S. dollar and weakness in foreign markets impacted the Ferguson-based company, it revealed in a regulatory filing Monday. "The global economies are clearly in a transition period with a significantly lower cost of oil, a stronger U.S. dollar and continued weakness in Europe," Emerson said in its filing.
