Michigan officials are preparing to issue a long-anticipated report on pipelines transporting oil and other petroleum products around the state, including a controversial line that runs beneath the scenic waterway where Lakes Huron and Michigan meet. Attorney General Bill Schuette and Dan Wyant, director of the Department of Environmental Quality, have scheduled a news conference Tuesday to release a report from a task force they appointed last year.
