Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)
2018-02-06 09:00:00| EmergingTextiles.com
Inflation rates have remained at reasonable levels at the end of last year in low-income countries. Whatever the acceleration of the global economic growth and the following rise in overall inflation rates, consumer prices should not rebound in low-cost countries with currency changes being the key driver of global trends in trade. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
