As of noon, almost 50 flights have been delayed or cancelled out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport , as winter storm Cato bears down on the East Coast, dropping temperatures and adding misery to holiday travel as of Wednesday afternoon. The day before Thanksgiving is one of RDU's busiest, and airport staff expect around 34,000 passengers arriving and departing, nearly 10,000 more than usual.
